Thugs of Hindostan, a flamboyant Bollywood film from the house of Yash Raj Films and produced by Aditya Chopra boasts of larger than life cast with Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Lloyd Owen etc. The story of the movie is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s novel Confessions of a Thug, published in 1839.
Thugs of Hindostan is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director of Tashan and Dhoom 3. The man had provided Dialogues for many awesome films like Dhoom, Bluffmaster, Dhoom 2, Guru, etc. The film also involves some of the most popular personnel like Lee Whittaker, Prabhu Deva, Manish Malhotra, Ajay-Atul duo, etc., in the crew.
The film has arrived at the sets with a budget of over Rs 210 crores. The movie’s first look posters have already been released and they have shown the lead cast in a never before appearances that intrigued the audience. The name and the appearances of the actors suggest that the film is a pirate movie, and this had made the audience more curious about the film.
The film’s trailer that has been released today has already become an instant hit among the Indian audience. Though some comparisons with the Hollywood film Pirates of Caribbean have been drawn, the trailer was indulgent and managed to make it to the top of trending list. Since the story of the film is set in the pre-Indian Independence era, the trailer exuded more of Patriotic Drama which created an instant connection in the audience.
The stellar performances of the cast are another asset to the film which the crew managed to emphasize in the trailer. Amitabh Bachchan donned a serious role while Aamir Khan was in more of a comical role in which he was more than perfect. Katrina Kaif appeared in a glamorous role which, she, with her presence, made it more than enjoyable in the trailer.
The film is slated to release on Diwali on 8th of November 2018 and judging by the looks of it, it seems that it might make a name for itself in Bollywood as well as the World History.
