Mohabbatein is the first film to unite two of the biggest stars in Bollywood; Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. It also had a star-studded cast Aishwarya Rai, Uday Chopra, and Anupam Kher. As a result, the movie turned out to be a blockbuster and a trendsetter for the future movies. Mohabbatein had a successful run at the box office, and the movie was critically acclaimed. The movie won 4 Filmfare awards and 2 IIFA awards. Story of the movie,
A disciplinarian, Narayanan is the headmaster of a Gurukul. He is against the idea of love. The All-boys Gurukul headmaster expels his students upon finding that they are in love with a girl. Three boys, Sameer, Vicky and Karan from that honorable university eventually end up falling in love with three girls Sanjana, Ishika, and Kiran respectively. With the fear of expulsion looming around enters Raj, a newbie music teacher, joins the Gurukul and keeps the hope of those three alive. In fact, he compounds the love interests of these boys and asks them to follow their heart. Later, however, the boys find something surprisingly unbelievable. Raj’s character in the movie tries to fill the heart of Narayanan with love. However, he has come to that Gurukul with another purpose. Will he be successful in his attempt?
